My portfolio is up. If someone wants to give some feed back, feel free. Most is in dutch, but the instructions are in english.
I'll give a short explination. I've been gathering work i did the last 2 years and put it on there.
#1: Is an font i made and the promo stuff to promote that font.
#2: are psychological disorders (a lot of those who have visit my page before will recognise those images)
#3: is my oldest stuff, it was for a magazine. It's a self portret and an article about Jack The Ripper. I put it on there so people can see my evolution.
#4: is my latest stuff. It's parts of my project where i graduated with (the black and white images) and some stuff i did during my internship.
I want to thank Mark (aka Smooka or Bedouin) for helping me out and making it able to put my site on the net, without him i still wouldn't have one up.
Thank you sweetie!

Ow, Mark and me are working on a site for him also, so check that one out real soon. There is an image on there to give an idea of what is yet to come.

Hi Nada, (or is it Kelly?)
I finally got a chance to check out your portfolio and I was blown away. I knew (having seen some of your work on the site here) that I would want to comment on as much as I could so I wrote down notes as I looked at each piece to make sure this comment could convey as much as possible in terms of feedback.
The font was interesting, and I enjoyed the promotional image you made for it. It would be interesting if you could turn that into a font for Windows and get it onto a PC.Or have you already done that?
The psychological disorders - I had seen some of these before, but again they were worth re-visiting. Anorexia Nervosa - especially the second piece (girl on the stool with a noose around her neck, with the menacing mouth in the background) was astonishing work. The use of cutlery as an almost threatening element was a great touch. Really was amazed at that piece.
Manic depression - seen it here before, but it was unbelievably good then and even more so now. You perfectly capture the essence of both extremes.
I didn't really understand what the 3rd disorder was (Iron man) but there were some striking imges there that caught my attention - I especially liked the metallic heart with teh nails in it. Your art is sometimes "painful" to look at, but impossible to ignore. Beautifully done.
Again with the fourth one I wasn't sure about the disorder, but I gathered from the paintings that it was some sort of recluse behaviour? Am I right? The "SOS" smoke message and the fearful eyes really help underline the fear of outside and yet feeling of being trapped, not only within the confines of the house but also within yourself. Impressive indeed.
Jack The Ripper - It was here I started to notice that the images were moving too fast for me to take everything in on first viewing. In that I mean there was so much great imagery and symbolism I wanted to stare at it and absorb it all. Suitably the tone empasised the menacing subject matter, faceless and merciless, and your use of the colour red highlighted both the aspect of murder and unknown danger.
Self Portrait - I really liked this one, and I sense the imagery is somewhat personal to you. Though I do like that in a self portrait you chose to use symbols rather than focus on aesthetics. That was very interesting. The demons rising from your PC were also a surprising addition, captured my imagination, and made me wonder if the angel in your hand was something you were offering to them - or rescuing from them Beautiful work.
Finally, the fourth section, your latest work. I really liked the "Life support" paintings. Merging everyday objects with parts of the body (Spine, womb, and a heart monitor reading) was a stroke of genius. Are you saying that we as a society have come to rely on these things as much as our body itself?
The empty spaces gallery was filled with some amazing imagery. I found something new in each piece each time I looked at it. I could easily lose myself in your work for hours without end.
Your talent is amazing. It was a pleasure to look at your portfolio.

Well, Kelly is my real name.
The font is already made in a font to put on mac or pc.
With the disorders: The kid with all the red tones is for the disorder O.D.D.: these are children who are very agressive, verbaly and physicaly, but they can't do nothing about it, they can't help but be like that. The forth wasn't a specific disorder, it were little illustrations in the book, like introduction of different chapters in the book.
The life support illustrations are for something else, but that is also the message behind it.It was a campaign for Jansport, so it was more commercial stuff, but i still wanted to do my own thing with it.
Thanks for your time and for the compliments.
